Suburban Bliss

Suburban Bliss is an independent clothing label run by Toby Shuall.

The Suburban Bliss manifesto: 'The world is shifting and turning and here in the centre of the Capitalist machine we try and live and be free. In-between the Millions of buildings and people there is a world, which I inhabit. From day to day I do my best to create and survive with out working for the man for creation is the key to eternal happiness. I avoid the masses but live with them, the reasons are not logical but we are simple creatures at heart. A man is born in a place in a country, and he leaves or stays and I have done but for now I stay but leave as much as possible. There is light in moving through the countries of the Earth. There is light and spirit beyond all recognition, out past where less dwell and the buildings stop covering the real surface of land. This is where I shall end my days as a member of the true world.

Suburban Bliss was created as a catalyst to try and form the link between surviving in the human world and still being a free animal on the Earth. To work just for money is not my idea of freedom and freedom is the most important thing one should have. Our Images are created for the sake of freedom and expression, our briefs do not exist, only mutual ideas between us determine the ever-evolving vision of Suburban Bliss.

Stay true to your ideas and keep those close to you in your life as much as possible. Friendship can save you in your darkest hours and is always rewarded with love. Suburban Bliss has survived only because of the help of friends and family, to be independent in this world is practically impossible at this time. Strength in numbers is an old saying the world is now covered in people and ideas, our ideas are simple, stay true to yourself and those you know and remain independent. Create from a desire to be free, for creation is freedom, never obstruct the path of creation even if it leads to your downfall. To lose means nothing, in the end objects are mostly synthetic and money is nothing but a gage of annoyance.

I have been through the dark and light so many times now in my life and for now I seem to be in the middle. Suburban Bliss is what I am doing with myself for the time being, it is my ticket on the train that we all ride. All the contributors are close to the heart of this label. We are all here for just one ride I just want everyone to get by with a smile on their face, myself included'.
