about us

do-be-do.net has been set up to provide a platform for our contributors (predominantly independent and small-scale producers) to find an audience and market for their creations.

postage & delivery

orders will be shipped within 2 working days (sometimes the same day if were in the office).

it's our policy to use recycled materials to package your goods when possible. if you would prefer your item to be in new packaging please add it as a comment when you check out.

we use a specially designed postage calculator that offers you all the available postage options for your purchase. this allows you to choose the option that suits your needs best. however, please note , we strongly recommend that you always select 'recorded delivery' as we are not responsible for the loss or damage of any items in the post.

1. Royal Mail First Class Standard Post (up to 3.0Kg). delivers within 1-3 days.

2. Royal Mail First Class Recorded Post (up to 3.0Kg and £32.00 value insured). delivers within 1-3 days.

3.Royal Mail Standard Parcels (up to 20.0Kg and £500 value insured). delivers within 3-5 days.

4. Royal Mail Special Delivery (up to 10kg and £2500 value insured). delivers next day.

Europe:

Royal Mail International Signed for (Europe). Air Mail.

rest of the world:

Royal Mail International Signed for (Rest of the world), Air Mail

please note: a signature is required for proof of receipt, therefore if you are not at home the item will be taken to your local post office for collection.

exchanges & refunds

we understand that buying online, without being able to see items, can sometimes be difficult. so if you are not happy with your purchase (for any reason) you can return it for an exchange or a full refund (minus postage costs) within 14 days of sale.

2. send the completed returns form, a copy of your invoice, and the item (in its original condition) to:

please note : unfortunately, we cannot exchange goods which have been stained by make-up, deodorant or perfumes whist being tried on or have been damaged in any way. items must be returned in a pristine and saleable condition. any item that we receive that we deem to be soiled in any way will not be eligible for any kind of refund or exchange. they must also have all original tags still attached.

the goods are your responsibility until they reach us. for your own protection, we recommend that when returning goods you use a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods and provides you with proof of posting (such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery).

returned items will be processed within 3 working days. we aim to make refunds to cards as soon as possible, normally within 7 working days, but during busier periods this may take slightly longer (maximum of 30 days).

at christmas we have an extended returns period to allow for the return of unwanted gifts. any order placed between 1st - 25th December can be returned for exchange/refund for up to 30 days from sale.

payment & security

we can only accept payment online through our secure online payment service provided by HSBC. they accept payment by Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Switch, Delta and Solo.

please be assured that do-be-do.net does not ever hold your credit or debit card details as all card data is processed through a secure connection by HSBC Card Services.

payment is taken as soon as you place your order and will be debited from your card or account before your goods are posted.

all prices are shown on the Website in £ sterling (GBP). do-be-do.net can only accept payment in £ sterling (GBP). all currencies will be converted to £ sterling (GBP) and you will be liable for any exchange rate charges made by your card provider.

lost or damaged goods

do-be-do.net is not responsible for any problems caused by the postal system. however we will do our best to help recover items or reimbursement   from Royal Mail for items that are lost or damaged. we strongly recommend that all customers choose to post their items by recorded delivery.

clothing, music, films, fashion, dvds, cds, tshirts, jewellery and accessories.

the site is split into two parts: the 'do-side' and the 'be-side'. the 'do-side' is simply the shop. and the 'be-side' is the news feed, videos, photo blog and articles section.

our aim is to give visitors a greater insight into contributors products than one would be able to get from a normal shop. through the 'be-side' we can give visitors access to a selection of photos, text, interviews, and videos that can explain in greater depth what a contributor is about. also through our news blog we keep an up-to-date record of upcoming events and gigs so visitors can find their heros in the real world too, not just in cyber space.

we consider the site to be a work in progress and are already working at developing new features. we will soon be running a regular club night too.

do-be-do can only supply goods that are ordered online via the Website and we cannot accept orders by telephone or post.

we are committed to protecting your privacy. we will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

we will not email you unless you have expressly given us your consent. we will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.

the type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, and your email address. as we have already stated we do not collect or hold any credit /debit card information from you. we will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. we will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date.

if you wish, you can check the information that we hold about you at any time by emailing us and asking for details (providing you can supply us with proof of your identity). if you find any inaccuracies we will either delete the information or correct it as required.

this privacy policy applies from 1st August 2007. we may amend our policy occasionally so advise you to check regularly to view our most up to date policy.

warranties

do-be-do.net is unable to provide any warranties in relation to goods provided over and above its statutory obligation to provide goods of satisfactory quality in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended by the Supply of Good and Services Act 1994.

this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

limited liability

do-be-do.net's liability for negligence shall be limited to the total value of the transaction. do-be-do.net shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses even if do-be-do.net has previously been advised of the likelihood of such losses.

availability of the website

we will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that this Website does not have any problems and that the goods displayed are available. however, we cannot guarantee the availability of the Website or that any goods on the Website are in stock or available.

availability of goods

all goods are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. do-be-do.net has an automatic stock keeping system so all items offered for sale should always be in stock. however this cannot be guaranteed. if there is an error and your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. we will contact you to arrange this via email within 2 working days.

all prices are as stated on the Website but do-be-do.net reserves the right to revise the price of goods at any time without notice.

the rights in the designs and the content of this Website are owned by do-be-do.net. they are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or display any part of this site without permission. if you do so we are likely to take legal action.
